CHICAGO – The Saint Xavier University baseball team (24-5, 8-2 CCAC) splits its doubleheader with Roosevelt University (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action on Tuesday afternoon at Richard R. Ferrell Field in Chicago, Ill. The Lakers rallied for five runs in the top of the 7th in game one to defeat the Cougars 7-6. Sophomore catcher Evan Orzech (Shorewood, Ill./Crossroads Christian Academy) lined an RBI single for a 7-6 walk-off win in the bottom of the 10th in game two. Freshman pitcher Noah Scott (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) picked up his first collegiate win by tossing 1.0 inning in the top of the 10th.
