French presidential candidate Nicolas Dupont-Aignan called another speech by Zelensky via video link “extremely dangerous.”
The French presidential candidate expressed the opinion that Western countries do not need to succumb to “emotional blackmail” from Ukraine. The politician made such a comment after a video message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to French lawmakers.
He called Zelensky’s speech “extremely dangerous.”
“The Ukrainian president is wrong: the best way to save lives in Ukraine is to create conditions for peace, not war,” the French politician believes.
“I reject this emotional blackmail that keeps us in a crazy cycle,” he warned on his Twitter page. “I propose to work on a peaceful plan for overcoming the Ukrainian crisis.”
