I won't pretend I listen to them regularly now, but when I hear them they nearly always make me smile. Because above all else, maybe a bit like Altern8, they were just such fun. It was all mad, the props, the Ancients of MuMu, Tammy Wynette, completely and wonderfully over the top.
Yeah, good stuff.
I just find that if an artist is the flavour of the day, the media and music business just kinda kill the moment by overplaying stuff until you get sick of it and start resenting hearing it in the first place
