90 Day Fiancé: Jorge Nava Becomes Dad To Baby No. 2 With GF Rhoda
Former 90 Day Fiancé star Jorge Nava welcomed his second baby with girlfriend Rhoda Blua on Tuesday after confirming her pregnancy via Instagram in October 2021. The controversial cast member made his reality TV debut with now ex-wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko in season 4. Russian bodybuilder Anfisa and Jorge had a tumultuous relationship and finally parted ways when he found himself behind bars for drug-related charges. When Jorge was released from state prison in May 2020, he showed off his weight loss and revealed his new girlfriend with whom he had his first baby, a daughter named Zara, in April 2021.
Jorge was arrested in Arizona in February 2018 and sentenced to two-and-a-half years for possession of drugs with the intention to sell. After the arrival of his first baby with Rhoda, he introduced them via a YouTube video in which he revealed unknown details about his non-90 Day Fiancé relationship. Rhoda admitted that it was the viral photo of Jorge in his orange jumpsuit that made her look him up and send him a message. Within a month or two of their first meeting on Instagram, Rhoda was pregnant with their first child. Because it had been just six months since Zara’s arrival that Jorge and Rhoda posted about their new pregnancy announcement, fans did find the news a little hard to believe.
But Us Weekly has now confirmed that Jorge and Rhoda were indeed pregnant because March 22 is when she gave birth to a baby boy. The couple has named their son George. Jorge gave “thanks and appreciation” to his girlfriend in a statement to the publication. “[She gave] me the most amazing children and [is] so loving and compassionate,” added Jorge. He gushed about how he loves every inch of Zara and can’t wait to raise their family together.
Jorge and Anfisa’s divorce was finalized in December 2020 after he officially filed in August 2020. Neither Jorge nor Anfisa had to pay alimony after their split. Jorge wants a large family with Rhoda and, before George’s birth, had expressed how he wanted six more kids together. Jorge revealed his plans to get married to Rhoda “soon” via an Instagram Q&A session with his fans. According to Jorge, his favorite part about being a dad is “having unconditional love” for his family. Being in prison helped Jorge become the person he is today, and he even calls it a “blessing in disguise.”
An interesting fact about Jorge is how his name is pronounced as “George” instead of the Spanish pronunciation. Jorge revealed that his siblings used to call him “Georgie,” and it kind of stuck. He has now named his son George as well, which makes his story all the more special. Jorge was last seen on a 90 Day: Bares All episode, but fans expect to see him return with Rhoda on a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. Although scandalous, Jorge has somehow been a fan-favorite, and fans still remember his epic scenes with Anfisa fondly. Jorge thinks that if given the right opportunity, he wouldn't mind making a franchise comeback. But for now, fans are loving this happy new version of him who’s happy being away from the red bags and keyed cars.
