FOR many women, beauty is pain.
There are all sorts of uncomfortable processes we go through to keep up the way we look.
Mollie showed viewers what her eyebrows looked like before she colored them[/caption] The “after” shot was jarring[/caption]One woman said she thought she was going to the salon for a simple eyebrow tint—but she came out looking nothing like she had hoped.
Mollie, who goes by @mstarrlol on TikTok, began her video with a clip of what she looked like prior to coloring her brows:
“Me before I got my eyebrows done.”
Her auburn hair was only slightly darker than her brows—and she looked naturally beautiful.

Next, she revealed the “after” look:
Her brows were unnaturally dark and had an appearance of being painted on.
“I don’t think she realized I’m ginger,” she said. “They are black.”
Mollie captioned the video: “Ahhhhh will be spending my evening scrubbing these off my face #ginger #eyebrowfail.”
The clip received nearly 20k views and dozens of comments that tried to boost her morale:
“Don’t worry, after a while it’s worth getting them dark as they last longer,” one person wrote.
“Look on the bright side: They really bring out your eyes and expressions,” added another.
As for other beauty procedures gone wrong, a makeup artist named Ruzanna, who goes by @ruzannasmbatyan on TikTok, said her lip fillers ended up moving down to her chin.
In the clip, she began: “Tell me your lip fillers migrated without telling me your lip fillers migrated. I’ll go first.”
She then pursed her lips in a pout, and it became clear that her filler had moved past her lips and towards her chin.
The video racked up 33,000 likes and many commenters said it was enough to put them off getting their lips filled:
“Ok yay you convinced me against it”, said one viewer.
“WOWWW I had JUST booked an appointment to get mine done. This was my sign to cancel it. Thank you for posting! I didn’t know about this,” added another.
The makeup artist, however, did not intend for her video to deter people from getting fillers.
In fact, she said she “can’t stop, won’t stop” filling her lips.

She explained: “The whole point of the video was not to deter you from getting lip filler, it was just showing my lip filler migrating.
“Don’t be afraid of lip filler, it is temporary. If it moves around on your face, it’s fine. You will survive. You will dissolve it. It honestly doesn’t even look that bad.”
