Rachel Zegler has revealed that she will not be at the upcoming 2022 Oscars.
While showing off some more behind-the-scenes pictures of the events she attended in the past few weeks in London, the 20-year-old West Side Story actress revealed to fans that she wouldn’t be at the Oscars, despite the film being nominated for Best Picture.

After a fan commented that they couldn’t wait to see what she wore to the show, Rachel informed them that she was not invited.
“I’m not invited, so sweatpants and my boyfriend’s flannel,” she responded about what she was going to be wearing.
Rachel added later after a few more outraged comments that she was shocked too.
“I have tried it all but it doesn’t seem to be happening :’) I will root for west side story from my couch and be proud of the work we so tirelessly did 3 years ago,” she wrote. “I hope some last minute miracle occurs and I can celebrate our film in person but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes, I guess. thanks for all the shock and outrage— I’m disappointed, too. but that’s okay. so proud of our movie. ❤️”
This other star might not be attending the Oscars red carpet either.
