Brunette’s brand new Vauxhall trashed by vandal calling her ‘ginger’
A woman with brown hair woke up to the words ‘ginger c***’ spray-painted on her brand new car.
Emily Hobbay went outside on Thursday to find the offensive words daubed on the £19,000 Vauxhall Crossland and its windows smashed in.
The 31-year-old nursery manager now can’t drive to work because of the profanity, and she’s been quoted thousands of pounds for repairs.
The brunette reckons it must be a case of mistaken identity as she has no idea who the vandal might be.
‘No one noticed anything,’ she said. ‘I came home from work as normal and parked before going into my house and going about my normal business.’
‘One of my neighbours went to the gym at 7pm and when they came back at 9pm they saw it had been trashed. I didn’t know until the morning after.’
‘I was shocked that someone could do something like that,’ she added. ‘Even if you have issues with someone, you don’t do that.
‘My car is brand new, only three months old, and they wrote “greed” across the other side.
‘I have taken it to three different people but the scratches are so deep it will need to be resprayed.’
It’s the first time Emily has had an issue in her hometown of Dudley, West Midlands.
She added: ‘It’s a nice area and people tend to get along.’
