New 90 Day Fiancé star Memphis Smith recently commented on Geoffrey Paschel's conviction while talking about the seriousness of domestic abuse. Geoffrey's charges involved domestic abuse, aggravated kidnapping, and interference with emergency calls. In February 2022, he was sentenced to 18 years in prison without parole. Memphis then claimed that countless other people have gone through similar experiences but couldn't do anything because "cops weren't notified." She shared that such things mostly go unnotified because victims are usually scared of the consequences and are afraid that people will not "believe them." Memphis concluded her Instagram Story by telling people to open their eyes and see the "reality."
Memphis isn't the only 90 Day Fiancé star who has reacted to Geoffrey's case. Jon Walters ended his friendship with Geoffrey after his guilty verdict. Deavan Clegg also responded to the conviction claiming she is also a victim of domestic violence and is happy to know that the former reality star's ex-girlfriend got justice. While Tiffany Franco and Corey Rathgeber were shocked to learn about the verdict, most 90 Day Fiancé fans lauded the judge who announced the sentence.
It seems Memphis may have talked about domestic abuse to create awareness. However, her comments are open to interpretation by fans and could signify something that happened between her and Hamza.
