DEAR DEIDRE: MY partner came home unexpectedly and caught me dressed in women’s clothes.
She was so shocked that she threw me out and cut up all my suits and trousers, saying I wouldn’t need them any more.

I am 42 and have been secretly cross-dressing for years.
My partner of three years is 40 and I knew she wouldn’t understand, so I kept it from her.
I was so humiliated – I was out on the pavement in a dress, wig and make-up, with nowhere to go.
She screamed that I was a disgusting pervert, and I’m sure all the neighbours heard.
I ended up walking a mile to my friend’s house. She’s the only person who knows about my cross-dressing.
