This photo composite shows my first attempt to create a three-dimensional image of the Moon with both sides visible. To create this image, I merged a picture of the Full Moon taken on November 19, 2021, with another photo taken during the Waxing Gibbous Moon on the night of December 13, 2021. Each Full Moon of the year is uniquely named, and the one each November is called the Beaver Moon. The distinctive name was given because November is the time of year beavers usually store up energy and take shelter.
