KATIE Price is facing up to five years in jail after being charged over a foul-mouthed text sent to her ex’s new partner.
The troubled star, 43, has been accused of breaching a restraining order and is due to appear in court next month.
The harassment charge, which relates to a message allegedly sent to Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost, carries a maximum prison term of five years.
But she could have another 16 weeks added as the offence was said to have happened just a month after she was given a suspended jail sentence for her drink-drive crash.
In 2019, the former glamour model had unleashed a tirade against flight attendant Michelle, 39, at the school gates and was later convicted of using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
She was given a five-year restraining order that prohibited her from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly”.

But in January, Price is said to have texted Kieran, 34, calling Michelle a “c***ing w***e piece of s***” and a “gutter s**g”. She was arrested by police on January 21 and spent 12 hours in a cell.
The arrest came just a month after mum-of-five Price was handed a 16-week prison sentence — suspended for a year — for her drink-drive crash.
She flipped her BMW X5 at 6am in Partridge Green, West Sussex, in September, following an all-night bender.
Price dodged prison on a technicality because she went to The Priory clinic for rehab — a condition she had agreed to when pleading guilty.
But she was told by a judge she could have killed someone — and warned she would be sent to jail if she re-offended during her suspended sentence.
It is understood the postal requisition with details of the charge was sent to Price’s West Sussex mansion on Tuesday.
She is due to face magistrates in Crawley, West Sussex, on April 12.
Police had been trying to contact her earlier in the week but she was sunning it up in Thailand with fiancé Carl Woods, 33.
It is understood the pair are set to return to the UK this weekend.
During her jaunt to Thailand, Price has flaunted her latest boob job in bikinis.
She looked over the moon, having reportedly had her 14th breast op which inflated them to their biggest yet.
Price, declared bankrupt in 2019, was said to have had liposuction and the boob surgery in Brussels in December,

Sussex Police said: “On Friday, January 21, officers arrested a woman on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.
“Katie Price, 43, has since been charged with harassment — breach of a restraining order. She will appear at Crawley magistrates’ court on Tuesday, April 12.”
