Antonio Conte has no fresh injury concerns ahead of a “big week” for Tottenham in the race for the Premier League top four.
The north London club are six points off the Champions League spots. So their trip to Brighton, who have lost their last five games, on Wednesday is therefore must-win. They then host rivals West Ham this weekend, which could be make or break.
Conte confirmed in his pre-match press conference that it was just the trio of Ryan Sessegnon, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga who remained sidelined.
He continued (via football.london): “For us, every week has to be a big week. Especially, it has to be a big game, every game, from now until the end.
“We have to play 11 games, we have to try to get our best. It means that every game you have to try to take three points, in every game.
“In the last game (3-2 defeat at Manchester United), I think that we deserved much more than the final result. But at the same time, we analyse very well the game, the positive situations, the negative situations, the way we can improve.”
Last time out ended in heartbreak for Spurs as Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick saw United come out on top.
On seeing games out, Conte added: “There are negative things that we have to speak about. We have to improve. This is a long road but we have to do our best and improve.

“The people that are watching our team know this team is improving and is strong and is playing to win.
“Now it’s important for us to continue to improve this squad and to try to get the best out of these players. Then we’ll see.
Pre-match preparation has been slightly disrupted by reports of Fabio Paratici leaving the club.
He has been linked with PSG, despite only becoming Tottenham’s director of football last year.
Conte was asked his colleague, to which he replied: “Honestly this is a question for him, not for me. I can’t speak for another person.
“I don’t know another person’s thoughts. This could be disrespectful.
“For sure, we’re talking about a sporting director who worked for 10 years at Juventus, and worked very well. He’s trying to work very well also in Tottenham.”

As well as Paratici, defender Cristian Romero came up in discussion ahead of the Brighton match.
He came in for criticism for celebrating in Harry Maguire’s face after his own-goal before Spurs lost against United.
“Honestly I’m a person that’s more focussed on what happened in the game and to try [to find] a solution,” Conte commented.
“After the game, I was disappointed for the loss, I haven’t seen if something strange happened, if you understand?
“Sorry if I can’t answer you about this but I’ll go to watch what happened because this is a situation I’m only discovering at this moment.”
