Screen Rant has an exclusive Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Official Collector's Edition extract from the special behind-the-scenes magazine. Originally created by George Lucas, the animated series is set in the years between Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones and Episode III — Revenge of the Sith in which tensions between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists continues to escalate in dangerous directions. The series served as a reboot of the 2003 2D series of the same name from Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky.
Coming from Titan Comics, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Official Collector's Edition is an in-depth magazine exploring the fan-favorite animated series. The magazine features special behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew of the show, character profiles, a detailed episode guide and synopses for all 133 episodes. The Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Official Collector's Edition also includes lavishly imagery from the Lucasfilm Image Archives and final frames from episodes of the series.

Throughout its run, Star Wars: The Clone Wars received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its expansion of the franchise's mythos, its layered storytelling and characters and its animation. After running for running on Cartoon Network for its first five seasons, the animated series would move to Netflix for season 6 before once again being canceled. Star Wars: The Clone Wars would be revived for one final go at Disney+ with the acclaimed 12-episode season 7 in late 2020, though the stories and character introduced there haven't seen the end of the road.
Thanks to Disney+, the long-running franchise has continued to expand with The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, both of which saw the returns of Clone Wars characters, namely Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze, Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano and Cad Bane. With both shows setting up further returns of animated characters, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Official Collector's Edition will be a must-have for fans of the franchise new and old to properly be kept in the know of the universe's ever-expanding canon.
