CASUALTY’S Teddy will have a dramatic week as he is rocked by a life-changing diagnosis.
The young paramedic’s health condition has worried mum Gaynor in recent weeks – and now Teddy is set for a shock collapse on the upcoming episode.
Casualty’s Teddy suffers a shock fall this week[/caption] The young paramedic receives some life-changing news about his health[/caption]He has been suffering dizzy spells and opted to use holistic treatments like tincture to mange the symptoms.
This week Teddy runs to work with girlfriend Veronica, but when she outruns him and then mocks him, he begins to feel the pressure and asks Paul for some more tinctures.
Paul reluctantly agrees but urges Teddy to keep it quiet, reminding him that he’s already in trouble with Dylan as it is.
But Teddy is in trouble when he and Jan head to rescue a distressed AJ, who has been experiencing hallucinations.

Teddy climbs up the tree but suddenly blacks out and falls to the ground, as Jan watches in horror.
The paramedic is rushed into resus, with Jan calling his mum Gaynor who blames her for Teddy’s fall.
But the are all later informed that Teddy’s condition could be linked to a heart condition.
But Teddy finds it difficult to come with his condition and makes excuses when questioned by his colleagues.
Teddy later admits that he’s been covering up his symptoms because he’s terrified he will lose his job.
Unfortunately, Ethan informs him that he could be at risk of losing his job if the condition is serious.
Teddy later discovers that he has ASD (atrial septal defect) and will need to have heart surgery.
What will Teddy’s future be?
Meanwhile, Paul learns that Teddy’s condition has worsened and panics that his herbal drinks have caused it.

Paul comes clean and shows Ethan the tincture that he’s been supplying – but Ethan reassures him that it’s unlikely to have caused his illness.
