The anime series wrapped up after the conclusion of the Tournament of Power storyline, featuring some of the best action sequences in the series to date, and fans were at least treated to the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie shortly after the show's last episode.
But that didn't stop the continuation of the manga, as its popularity drove the continuation of the adventures of Goku and the Z Fighters. With rumors of the anime making a comeback, there is plenty of manga content and moments to be adapted for fans to look forward to in the event of a renewal or reboot.
Perhaps seen by many as one of the best fights among the entire franchise, Goku finally mastered Ultra Instinct and was able to go toe to toe with the seemingly indestructible Jiren. But would this powerful new form of Goku's ever be seen again?

Fans of Dragon Ball Super will recognize Jaco when it comes to the Galactic Patrol. Introduced in the Resurrection F movie, the small and comedic alien was also an introduction to the concept of a force for good among the galaxy.
In the first story arc that continues from the anime's ending, the Galactic Patrol opens up to new characters as well as familiar faces from the series. From Whis' younger brother Merus to the plucky pilot Irico, the arc offers a bigger look into Jaco's group.
After years of remaining as a fan-favorite non-canonical villain, Broly was finally officially introduced to the cast. With a new backstory and an improvement to his personality, he is more popular than ever before.
While Broly is only featured in one page of the manga, it does at least acknowledge him in the series and could open up to Broly's growing presence. And as the previous movies have been retold as episodes in the series, the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie might just get this same treatment and finally see him in the anime series after initially being the strongest villain from the Dragon Ball movies.
After Namek was destroyed at the hands of Frieza during his battle with Goku in his first appearance as a Super Saiyan, the surviving Namekians were rehomed on New Namek. Since then, the new planet has appeared in multiple episodes and some movies.
Despite being mentioned in the series, the Namekians and New Namek were finally shown when the ancient wizard Moro escapes prison and attempts to use the planet's Dragon Balls. As it's the biggest battle the Namekians have been involved with since Frieza invaded their previous home, it's good to see them again and to see life in their new world.
After Moro drained the energy from the planet of New Namek, he transformed into a strong villain and became a more formidable threat to the Galactic Police. And with his followers having escaped prison too, they head to Earth.
It's been a long time to watch the Z Fighters fighting alongside one another, and with them joining forces with members of the Galactic Police, they certainly gave it their best. With Moro's powerful allies like Seven-Three, Saganbo, and Yunba, they definitely kept them on their toes.
The most recent antagonist to be introduced in the series, Gas currently stands as the strongest warrior of Universe 7 with the help of the Dragon Balls' wish. Despite Granolah's attempt to use a similar wish for himself, it looks like Gas will truly be a savagely powerful enemy against him, Goku, and Vegeta.
Gas and his family, The Heeters, work for Frieza and his empire, selling the planets that his soldiers have stripped. And with Granolah wanting to exact his revenge against Frieza for what he did to his planet, it's no wonder that fans are rooting for the Cerelian warrior and to see their battles come to life.
The most recent arc in the manga, the Granolah the Survivor arc introduced readers to the Cerelian bounty hunter Granolah. After learning of Frieza's revival, he aims to surpass his strength so he can exact his revenge for what was done to his planet and its citizens.
Now the sole survivor of his race, Granolah has become a strong emotional anchor for this storyline. Furthermore, it will offer viewers a new hero to root for to take on the Heeters family.
Bardock, the son of Goku, made his first appearance in Dragon Ball Super Broly in a fresh retelling leading to the events of the Saiyan's demise. And with the power of flashbacks, the Saiyan warrior could return to the anime series too to reveal some hidden facts about Bardock.
In a flashback to the events that led to the destruction of Granolah's people and his planet, Bardock was seen as someone who wanted to save the youngster and his mother. He was even able to fight against the Heeters, much to Gas' disgust.
While new forms were attained by Vegeta and Goku, the same can't be said for new moves. Although fans would have enjoyed seeing classic attacks, new techniques were definitely needed.
During Moro's destruction across the galaxy, Vegeta learns the new move known as Force Spirit Fission. Able to split energy from a source and manipulate it, Vegeta used this effectively against Moro who absorbed the energy of New Namek, saving the planet and its citizens while also taking down the evil wizard. Potentially, it could be one of Dragon Ball attacks that's considered too powerful.
By far one of the biggest highlights from the pages of the manga was Vegeta's new form after training with the God of Destruction, Beerus. While Goku is able to use Ultra Instinct, Vegeta was able to fight against Granolah in his powerful Ultra Ego form.
Sporting purple hair and a menacing gaze, Vegeta was able to use the power of destruction in order to stop the Cerelian. Fans of the anime will undoubtedly want to see the fight and this form adapted from the pages. And best of all, it will give Vegeta his time to shine in the spotlight.
