Mystery of Oakley Carlson, 6, who siblings fear was ‘eaten by wolves’ may be solved by clue in family home, expert says

THE mystery over the disappearance of a six-year-old girl in 2019 could be solved by looking at clues in the family home, an expert says.

Oakley Carlson from Oakville, Washington, is missing after being returned to her biological parents in November 2019.

Criminal profiler John Kelly believes that Oakley, whose siblings have claimed she was eaten by wolves, is still alive because her toys were packed up.

Kelly told Fox News that they discovered Oakley’s clothes and toys were removed from the family home, which he claims indicates the girl was not kidnapped.

“To me, that looks like she was packed up, because how many kidnappers go and say, ‘Where’s your toys kid? Where’s your clothes?'” Kelly said.

Oakley’s birth parents Jordan Bowers and Andrew Carlson were charged with child abandonment last year after her disappearance was reported by an unidentified person.

They are also charged with exposing their children to methamphetamine.

The couple never notified the authorities of Oakley’s disappearance, leading Kelly to believe they were involved.

“If somebody else kidnapped her, I’m sure the parents would have gone to the authorities,” Kelly said.

“Meth is the most insidious drug. Addicts need money. Is it possible they sold her?”

Kelly is now offering a one-time reward of $10,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to Oakley’s whereabouts and recovery within the next six months.

‘EATEN BY WOLVES’

The search for Oakley began after a concerned citizen requested that authorities do a wellness check on the child, according to reports.

Court documents reveal that Oakley’s siblings shared concerning information with the detective regarding their sister’s disappearance.

The missing child’s sister claimed “her mother Jordan has told her not to talk about Oakley” and the mother also said, “she had gone out into the woods and had been eaten by wolves.”

Oakley’s nine-year-old brother said he “has witnessed Jordan beat Oakley with a belt and has been worried about her starving.”

Jordan has a criminal history that includes felony convictions for drugs and theft, KOMO reported.

The father, Andrew Carlson, is a former Aberdeen Police Officer who was decommissioned in 2017 for making a false and misleading statement.

‘RUSHED’ MOVE

Oakley’s foster parents, who have not seen her in two years, felt that the decision to send her back to the birth parents was “rushed.”

Foster mother Jamie Jo Hiles said she told social services the placement was not safe.

Oakley was returned to her biological parents in November 2019.

Her foster parents said the last time they saw Oakley alive was at the end of November 2021.
