The Chase fans pointed out a HUGE slip-up made by contestant over a late Hollywood actor tonight – but did you spot it?
Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV game show saw four new contestants take on Jenny Ryan AKA The Vixen.
The first player to take on the Chaser was animal health marketing assistant Abigail, 44.
Abigail got off to a flying start in the cash builder round.
However, it became very apparent that she’s not a huge film fan.
Host Bradley Walsh asked her: “In the 2021 film Zack Snyder’s Justice League, who plays The Joker?”
Abigail replied: “Heath Ledger.”
Viewers flocked to Twitter to point out her mistake.
One wrote: “Heath Ledger played the Joker in… Justice League? #TheChase.”
Another chimed in: “Wait, Heath Ledger is still alive?”
Heath Ledger played The Joker in a completely different film.
The star took on the role of the psychopathic anarchist in The Dark Knight, a blockbuster based on DC Comics character Batman.
Ledger died aged 28 after accidentally overdosed on prescription drugs in 2008.
The Perth native’s biggest films include Brokeback Mountain, Monster’s Ball, A Knight’s Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You.
The correct answer to the question is in fact Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto.
