PETER Andre admitted he’s relieved his daughter Princess isn’t interested in modelling like her mum Katie Price.
The 48-year-old hopes his 14-year-old will shun showbiz completely and become a nun.
Princess’ mum Katie Price found fame being a model[/caption]Writing in his new! Magazine column this week, the dad-of-four said: “Princess is most interested in music and theatre right now and hasn’t mentioned modelling.
“But once she’s 16 I’ll be more open to her exploring things like becoming a nun – or nun’s assistant LOL.”
Pete shares Theo, five, and eight-year-old Amelia with Emily and he’s also dad to Junior and Princess, 14, from his marriage to Katie Price.
The proud dad previously praised Princess’ “beautiful voice” but insisted she would need guidance, like he has given to son Junior.
Junior will release his first track in spring and Pete revealed he’s used his own experiences in the industry to guide his son.
He said: “I was 16 when I signed my first deal, because my dad wouldn’t let me sign it before I was 16.
“When I was taking Junior into the studio when he was 15 and he got offered the deal, I told him he wasn’t allowed to sign it until he was 16 either. So it was like history repeating itself.”
But Pete also revealed concerns about Junior entering the industry after his own experiences.
He said: “Of course, there’s a lot of fear, because you get thrown into the lion’s den.
“But I’m hoping that with everything I’m telling him on a daily basis, he will be OK.
“We sit and we talk about things, and he knows I’m right next to him the whole time. It’s unbelievable how similar we are.
“Like me, he wanted to be an actor but he also has a talent for songwriting.”
The singer’s youngest son Theo, five, has different ideas though and want to be doctor like his mum Emily.
He said last week: “My son Theo, who’s only five, has been saying that he wants to be like Mummy and be a doctor. And weirdly, he loves watching Dr Pimple Popper!”
