Warning! Spoilers for Future State: Gotham #11 by DC Comics
In her time in Gotham City, Harley Quinn has encountered, fought, and worked alongside pretty much all of the Robins that have teamed up with Batman in DC's main comics continuity. However, in the Future State timeline, the antihero just admitted which of the Boy Wonder's she hates the most, revealing Jason Todd is the "worst" Robin. The pick isn't overly surprising, given the Red Hood's unique mindset as an antihero himself.
Batman almost always has a Robin sidekick to assist him in his adventures and investigations, with four versions of the character being amongst the most popular. First, Batman teamed up with the original Robin, Dick Grayson. Then, after Grayson became the hero Nightwing, the Dark Knight took on Jason Todd - who would be killed by the Joker and transform into the Red Hood after being resurrected. Next up was Tim Drake, who is still seen as Batman's sidekick when he's not in his Red Robin attire. Lastly, Batman's son Damian Wayne has taken on the mantle of Robin; however, the pair's relationship is currently fractured.
In this week's Future State: Gotham #11 by Dennis Culver, Geoffo, Jordie Bellaire, and ALW's Troy Peteri, Red Hood leads the battle against the Magistrate's Cyber robots, who the Next Joker has taken over. Alongside Hunter Panic, Tobias Whale, and Batman, Jason Todd suggests avoiding the robots and hiding Whale in a safehouse. However, Harley Quinn has other ideas, as she blows their cover by immediately going after the Jokerbots. Upon seeing Batman with the Red Hood, Harley Quinn tells the future Dark Knight he's got a "weird taste in Robins" as she hates the Red Hood the most, as he's "the worst one."
Harley Quinn hating Jason Todd makes the most makes sense, as she's taken on the hero alongside the man who killed him, the Joker. The Red Hood and Harley haven't had many encounters, but Todd seeing Harley as an extension of the Clown Prince of Crime likely didn't help how they viewed each other. Perhaps, there's still more to be revealed about Quinn and the Red Hood's future relationship that has driven a wedge further between the antiheroes.
No matter what caused the rift between Harley and Jason, seeing her call out Red Hood as the worst makes for an entertaining interaction in an incredibly tense moment. Harley Quinn has never been afraid to call things as she sees it, and in this case, she hilariously has no problem admitting she hates Jason Todd's Robin the most.
