Christine Quinn, a real estate agent on Netflix's Selling Sunset, shared on social media about her frightening encounter with robbers. Over the course of the past few months, Christine's involvement in Selling Sunset news has been centralized in her drama with Emma Hernan and their mutual ex, Peter Cornell. Often referred to as the villain of the series, fans and cast members have been outspoken about Christine's controversy on the streaming series.
Even though Christine hasn't always meshed well with her fellow agents, she has recently started to redeem herself in small ways. After being accused of faking her own pregnancy, she received well-needed support from Davina Potratz, a step towards reconciliation at the office. Some fans have even speculated that Christine's sassy persona may even be exaggerated to increase viewership, with the reality star possibly being not nearly as confrontational as she is on set. After four seasons of Christine's dramatic role on the series, she has progressively shifted the narrative surrounding her villainous label, now involved in an assortment of series news. While Christine still faces rifts with producers and co-workers, she now appears to be playing the victim rather than the villain.
Recently, Christine opened up on her Instagram Story about her harrowing experience of having a run-in with robbers at her house. She detailed the horrifying news that she and her husband, Christian Richard, woke up to find "two robbers breaking their glass window." Without her usual full face of makeup and lavish outfits, Christine got personal with her followers and was genuinely taken aback by this dangerous, life-altering encounter. Having to hide in their "baby's room," Christine and her family were saved by their extensive home security measures, including "double-, triple-paned windows." Unharmed in the process, Christine made clear that this attempted break-in was "the most horrifying moment of [her] life."
Christine, often in the midst of a fight, now shows genuine concern for her neighbors after fending for her own safety. Trying to help her community, Christine made it known she hopes the Los Angeles community will "be really safe out there" in light of this terrible event. Posting photographs of the assailants, Christine has turned to her Instagram followers to help her "identify" the criminals they caught on camera. With hopes at accessing clearer footage of the criminals soon, Christine wants to find the people who tried to hurt her and her family as soon as possible. The reality star may prove difficult to work with at some points, but she now appears to be much more vulnerable and focused on not only her own needs but that of her community.
Surprisingly humbled by the incident, fans were introduced to an entirely foreign version of Christine, one fans are certain to admire. Christine, having previously shared about her childhood, has endeared herself slowly over the past year. While the conflict in the office is far from over and Christine has a long way to go before she will be welcomed with warm arms by her co-workers, she appears to be improving her attitude and demeanor. Still recovering from the horrors of her break-in, Christine seems to have reevaluated her priorities, focusing now on family and those around her instead of material possessions. As Selling Sunset season 5 makes its way to Netflix soon, fans will be looking to see if Christine's shifting persona will carry over into the reality series.
