The Prophet is a class in Elden Ring specializing in fiery incantations to dispatch enemies. While each player will have different preferences for stats, spells, and equipment, there are principles that apply to every build of the Prophet. There are several different Prophet builds players can create in Elden Ring, but the most successful builds focus on maximizing the effectiveness of flame-based incantations.
Prophets are a class that is difficult in the early game but becomes a powerhouse by the time players make it to mid-game enemies. Prophets begin with high Faith and Mind Stats, while their Intelligence and Endurance stats are low. Faith is the main stat required for players to use powerful incantations, while Mind affects the amount of FP a player wields. Players who want to use brute force instead of incantations would be better suited to a class like Elden Ring's Hero.
After players begin creating a character, they will need to choose a keepsake for their Prophet. The best keepsake to choose for any class in Elden Ring is the Golden Seed. Players can bring Golden Seeds to Sites of Grace in exchange for extra flasks. No matter which class players choose in Elden Ring, they can always use extra flasks. Once players have created their Prophet, they must decide which stats to level up and which items to equip.
Players should allocate runes into Mind, Faith, Vigor, and Arcane stats. Mind and Faith are the main stats for Prophets, with Vigor and Arcane serving as secondary stats. Allocating stat points in this fashion assures players to have lethal incantation abilities with a substantial HP and defense capabilities pool. Players who are good at evading attacks from bosses like Elden Ring's Godrick the Grafted will not need to focus too much on increasing HP with stat points in Vigor. Arcane is the most important secondary stat for more agile players.
Players must decide which items to equip depending on their playstyle. Players can wear whatever armor they want and use whichever weapons they want as long as their incantations are accentuated. Scythes, seals, and shields are some of the best weapons. Prophets can use in Elden Ring. Early in the game, players will want to utilize the Catch Flame and Dragonfire incantations as their main source of offense with Prophets. Catch Flame is useful for massive enemies, while Dragonfire is useful against groups of enemies. Once players find the Dragon Communion Seal, they will be able to upgrade their arsenal of fire moves to take on tougher enemies in the Lands Between. If players have gathered enough Golden Seeds in Elden Ring to exchange for flasks, their Prophet may be unstoppable.
