Mark Wright breaks silence over becoming an uncle and reveals he’s moved back into his parents home with Michelle Keegan
MARK Wright has opened up about becoming an uncle for the first time and says his nephew is “absolutely beautiful”.
The 35-year-old‘s brother Josh, 32, and his wife Hollie welcomed a baby boy last week and proud uncle Mark spoke about the new arrival during his Heart radio show.
Presenter Mark said: “The other night my brother Josh and his amazing wife Hollie gave birth to a son, a month early actually – quite premature – but he’s absolutely beautiful.
“What an experience, though. I don’t know if you’ve been through it, been an uncle or an aunty for the first time… it’s just overwhelming, quite surprising, shocking but in such a beautiful way.”
Mark also opened up about the moment he found out he’d become an uncle, revealing he and wife Michelle Keegan have moved in with his parents while they finish renovations on their new mega mansion.
He said: “We were laying in bed and we got the news in a Whatsapp group which is the beauty of having social media, and my brother said, ‘He’s here!’
“Me and Michelle ran up to my dad in his bed, and we were like, ‘Can you believe it?’
“He was buzzing, he was like, ‘Got to go downstairs and pop a bottle. I’ve done it with all you kids when you were born, so got to do it again.’

“I was like, ‘Well dad, it’s not quite the same, we’re your children, this is your grandchild.
“‘But if you want to start a new tradition, you’ll be doing it another however many times, opening bottles of champagne at 12:55am!'”
Following Josh and Hollie’s birth announcement, Mark posted a series of snaps of their baby boy – including a seriously sweet one of him and Michelle cuddling the tot.
He wrote: “Welcome to the world little man…. Auntie, Uncle and everybody loves you so much.
“My nephew…. Just stick with me son and everything will be alright .”
