1. The Russian Aerospace Forces and Missile Forces continue to strike targets across the country, the headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kiev was hit. Russian ground attack aviation is operating in the sky. A no-fly zone for civil aviation has been formed over the territory of Ukraine.
2. The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov reported about the counter-offensive of the DPR and LPR troops in certain sectors of the front and added that only the areas of concentration of troops become the target of Russian attacks.
3. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the severing of diplomatic relations with Russia and called for large-scale protests against the military operation.
4. The units of the Russian army deployed in Crimea crossed the border and entered the territory of the Kherson region. They established control over the Kakhovskaya Hydroelectric power station. 2. The greatest advance was recorded in the Kherson region, where the defense on the isthmus collapsed. The heaviest fighting takes place in the vicinity of Kharkov, where Russian troops have suffered losses.
3. The operation will continue: after the first battles, the main defense nodes and places of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are opened. They will become the targets of new strikes.
