Kherson region partially comes under control of Russian military
The Kherson region has partially come under the control of the Russian military, the regional administration said. Water has already been launched through the North Crimean Canal to Crimea.
It is reported that Russian military equipment is in the city of Genichesk. All state structures of the region are under control.
The fact that Genichesk came under control of the Russian Army was told to the Ukrainian media by the mayor, who also noted that they demanded from the city and district administration just to work and fulfill their duties for the life of the settlement. Nothing threatened the life of civilians, all the social infrastructure remains safe and unbroken.
Military columns are present in all districts of the region, they crossed the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station towards Bolshaya Aleksandrovka, and also occupied Novaya Kakhovka and Oleshki.
As noted, shooting and active hostilities are not conducted. The Russian Armed Forces are not in Skadovsk, and the administration of the region does not know for sure about their presence in Berislav.
