Strictly’s Stacey Dooley sparks engagement rumours with Kevin Clifton as she celebrates at dinner
STACEY Dooley has sparked engagement rumours with a cryptic snap of a celebratory dessert.
The documentary maker, who is in a relationship with former Strictly star Kevin Clifton, shared a snap of a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream topped with crisp bacon.
“Congratulations” was on the slate the bowl was served on, but Stacey offered no context as to what it was for.
Stacey and Kevin were partnered together on Strictly in 2018 and went on to win the show.
She had a boyfriend at the time, but shortly after the show ended she finished it and started a relationship with the pro dancer.
They moved into a stunning new home in 2020 and have been gradually renovating it in a minimalist Scandi style.
Stacey’s delicious looking sweet on her night out looked far more fancy than the three snacks she lived off growing up.
She recently said: “In my childhood, it was the three Ps . . . Pop Tarts, Peperami, Pot Noodle — then a blue ice pole for dessert.

“That was my diet and I could still eat that as a three-course meal now.”
The host of make-up show Glow Up has previously confessed to a love for sausage-based snack Peperami.
She said: “I tweeted a picture (of a Peperami) and they sent me 2,000 of them.”
Asked in an interview if she ate them all, she joked: “Yeah, in a couple of days. They’re so bad they’re good.”
But she added: “I am now middle-class. I can’t deny it.
“I never used to eat olives and balsamic vinegar. My palate’s changed.”
