How To Get Husk Gems in Genshin Impact | Screen Rant
Genshin Impact Version 2.5 is here, along with a new item called the Husk Gem that’s required for one of the new events. Along with releasing new characters, weapons, and enemies, Version 2.5 starts with a new event called the “Three Realms Gateway Offering.” As a part of this event, players will have to gather Husk Gems to earn all the rewards.
Players will have to collect around 30 Husk Gems to complete the event. However, players may be confused about where to find them since they’re a new item that drops from a new type of enemy. Here’s where players can find Husk Gems in the game and earn the related rewards for Genshin Impact's Three Realms Gateway Offering event.
Husk Gems can only be obtained by participating in the Three Realms Gateway Offering exploration event, and the item has no use outside of this event. To unlock this event, players will first have to complete Chapter 2: Act 3 of the Archon Quest and The Moon-Bathed Deep quests, and The Still-Water’s Flow quests.
The Three RealmsGateway Offering event is a limited-time event only available on Enkanomiya. Players can unlock Enkanomiya by completing the prerequisite quests mentioned above and then by beginning the event. The event is made up of several trials and challenges, and players can participate in this event between February 17, 2022, and March 30, 2022.
Husk Gems can be found by killing Shadowy Husks in Genshin Impact. These are new kinds of enemies that take the form of large Abyss knights. There are three different variations of Shadowy Husks– the Standard Bearer, the Line Breaker, and the Defender. These variations are of the Pyro, Hydro, and Cryo elements. They are relatively strong enemies who fight the player by summoning some defense mechanism after hitting a shielded character. Husk Gems can also be obtained from opening chests guarded by Shadowy Husks.
To defeat Shadowy Husks with ease, players should make sure they have one DPS unit that counters Pyro (Hydro is the best bet) and one that counters Hydro and Cryo (Pyro is a good choice, but other elements work too). Players should also use Healer units in Genshin Impact rather than Shielding units to prevent the Shadowy Husks from generating their shields. From there, players should be able to obtain Husk Gems with ease.
