The thriller centers on Lillian Cooper, a Broadway actress who is preparing to make her final on-stage appearance when her celebrity son Curtis is found dead from an overdose on the heels of getting out of rehab. Lillian sets out on a quest for answers behind her son's death, working with his dealer Taz to uncover the truth and punish those responsible.
With just a few weeks remaining until the film's release, Screen Rant is exclusively debuting the Measure of Revenge trailer. The video sees Leo as a grieving mother out for revenge for the men who brought drugs back into her son's life after his rehab recovery, resulting in his overdose. The exclusive Measure of Revenge trailer offers some solid insight into the tense web of revenge audiences can expect from the thriller, with Leo tapping into the vigilante nature she accompanied in Denzel Washington's Equalizer films. Alongside the Oscar-winning actress, the cast for Measure of Revenge includes Bella Thorne, Jake Weary, Roma Maffia, Adrian Martinez, Benedict Samuel, Michael Potts and Jason A. Rodriguez. The film serves as the directorial debut of Peyfa with Timur Bekbosunov attached to produce alongside Peter Wong, Jen Gatien, Emma Lee, Jay Cannold, Johnny Chang and Bronwyn Cornelius.
