Duke Street in Alexandria, Virginia, has reopened about eight hours after a serious crash not far from the Alexandria Commons shopping center closed a section of it early Wednesday.
Alexandria Police tweeted at 8:30 a.m. that Duke Street between Quaker Lane and Roth Street had reopened.
Police said a multivehicle crash involving severe injuries occurred after midnight.
Police have not released any additional details.
