Tottenham have submitted the ‘most firm’ offer for the coup signing of Paulo Dybala following talks with Fabio Paratici, it’s been claimed.
Dybala, who is set to be a free agent this summer, emerged as Spurs‘ top striker target after Juventus made Dusan Vlahovic his team-mate. Director of football Paratici worked with him at his old club and clearly feels he can convince him to also journey to north London.
After all, he has already done so with former Old Lady pair Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
With Dybala aged 28, his anticipated availability is a major opportunity for a top side to get a steal of a signing.
The competition is therefore understandably high. The latest update is a positive one for Tottenham fans, though.
Spanish publication Sport report the Premier League outfit have already spoken with him and have made the best approach of any side so far.
They cover Barcelona’s tracking of the Argentina international, which has been ongoing for years.

The Catalan giants are now interested in the prospect of his free signing. Of course, they are looking for bargains due to their financial situation.
It’s claimed that Dybala would be willing to join them, but it is not his priority.
That is again a good sign for Spurs. However, it is noted that he would like to play in Spain.
Inter Milan are interested too. Taking one of their Serie A rivals’ top stars away from them would be a big success.
Dybala does seem keen to get out of Italy, though, and is seeking a change of scenery. That would place Tottenham in pole position as it stands.
Meanwhile, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg remains an important player for Tottenham, insists Antonio Conte, amid rumours of a transfer away.
Hojbjerg was one of the midfielders who stayed at Spurs after the January transfer window. Several other options in that position – namely Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele – left the club.
Despite Conte being deprived numerically, there has been a growing optimism elsewhere that Hojbjerg could be sacrificed.
Conte has now clarified, though, that there is no issue between the pair and he is still counting on the 26-year-old as an important part of his evolving midfield…
