A MUM has shared how she fits five of her eight children in one room – but viewers are saying it’s unfair to the kids.
In the TikTok video, Des Luna, mother-of-eight, shared how she has organised one room to fit five of her children on their family account Raising Eight Arrows.
The bed structure takes up most of the room, on the right hand side is a bunk-bed with double beds, and a high sleeper single bed is placed next to it on the left hand side of the room.
As she pointed to the lower bunk, the mum said: “Two of my boys go in that bed.”

She explains that two of the girls share the double bunk on the top and that her 14-year-old daughter sleeps on the single bed.
She also goes around the room to show how she organises her five children’s things in such a crowded room.
As she showed the contents of the wardrobe, the mum said: “This is how I organise their closet, games, jackets, bedding, sheets, shoes and they all get a little area for themselves.”
The hack was posted to show how she works with a small space – however, many viewers were not impressed by having five kids share a room – especially beds.
One of the top liked comments said: “I feel bad they have like no space or privacy.”
Another user commented “This is just sad… if you don’t have enough space don’t have kids. Maybe 2 sharing a room is fine… but not 5.”
A third user wrote: “IDC about room sharing but they really shouldn’t have to share beds.”
Many commenters on the video shared the same feelings – and this one added: “My heart goes out to the kids 14 year with 4 younger siblings in one room wow. 8 kids but you don’t have the space or money obviously.”
In a recent post on TikTok the mum did say they are in the process of building an extra bedroom for their 14-year-old daughter.
