As the one-year anniversary of Billy Brown's death approached, Alaskan Bush People's Bam shared how he was coping with the immense loss.
While the Alaskan Bush People cast is all handling the one-year mark of Billy Brown's passing differently, Bam Brown decided to stay stoic in his mourning process. Many viewers would argue that Bam is the most temperamental out of all of his siblings thanks to his respect for the danger that was all around him growing up. As the second oldest Brown, Bam was often given many responsibilities by his father and mother. The pursuit of living off their own land came at a cost for the Alaskan Bush People stars, who often found themselves at odds with the fundamentalist ideas of what it means to be American. The Brown siblings have been living in the bush of Alaska their entire lives thanks to their parents, Billy and Ami. However, after moving to Washington state, everything changed as Billy's health began to decline.
Billy passed away on February 8, 2021, after suffering from a seizure while living at North Star Ranch. Bear Brown was nominated as the family's spokesman and confirmed that his father had indeed passed away. Even though Billy was dealing with health problems in the months leading up to his death, he made sure to live every day to the fullest. Billy loved nothing more than watching his family thrive. Since his passing, the entire Wolf Pack has rallied together in support of Billy's dream.
Bam has never been one for emotional tributes or to share updates with followers on social media. However, the Discovery Channel star did make time to post a beautiful nature picture in honor of his late father around the one-year anniversary of his death. Bam shared a picture of a ruby red sky over the family's ranch with his 100k followers. Bam didn't say much and captioned the picture with only hashtags of his notable sayings. Viewers knew this was how Bam was dealing with his father's death and wished him all the prayers in the world. Bam didn't respond to any comments, but his followers knew their words were leaving an impression on him. Check out Bam's post below:
Each member of the Wolf Pack has been dealing with their grief in their own way since Billy's passing one year ago. Some have spoken out publically while others have kept to themselves. Still, Bam always knows what is just right for him at the moment.
Bear and Matt Brown also took to their social media accounts to share how they were doing on the hard day. Bear uploaded a collage of photos explaining how there would always be a hole in his heart. Matt, who has been estranged from the family, shared a photo of a rubber duck while revealing his father used to sing the Sesame Street song when in a good mood. Every Brown sibling has their own precious memories, which Alaskan Bush People viewers were happy to see them share.
