DO you think pool noodles are just for holidays? Think again.
A woman has amazed interior fans by creating a beautiful dark green headboard made entirely from the spongy tubes.
Interior expert Bridgette made a stunning green headboard from pool noodles[/caption] She initially bought 50 for the product, but ended up using 46[/caption]Interior expert Bridgette showed off the stylish headboard that she had made into a rainbow shape.
On her TikTok, she uploaded a video showing how she needed to first get some plywood to act as the base.
Then she had to buy 50 pool noodles – and the colours didn’t matter as she was going to add a coloured fabric on top.
Bridgette ended up using 46 as she has a king bed and wanted the headboard to overlap the bed at both sides.
She explained: “I lined up all the noodles into this arch formation.
“Make sure you have duct tape. You are going to tape each of the noodles to each other.
“Then I took my staple gun and I put it on the hole of the pool noodle and I stapled it into the wood base on the bottom, on the left side and the right side.
“I left the top hanging there.”
Next, she took out her dark, velvet fabric and shoved it into each pool noodle crack.
She then stapled all the way to the top, until the whole display was firmly attached.
Then she cut off the square plywood around the arch to create the curved shape
Bridgette hailed the DIY project as her “most ICONIC creation”, and viewers did not disagree.
One said: “Thank u I will be making one immediately.”
A second wrote: “Omg this is beautiful and so clever!!”
