"Marry Me" is a brand-new romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson. The movie hit theaters and the Peacock streaming service on February 11 — just in time for Valentine's Day. This is the third movie to get a same-day release on Peacock and the big screen, following "The Boss Baby 2" and "Halloween Kills."
J-Lo stars as Kat Valdez, a glamorous pop star about to pull off the biggest publicity stunt of her life: marrying her celebrity boyfriend live on stage. But when her fiancé (played by Maluma) gets caught cheating the night they're supposed to take their vows, Kat decides to say "I do" to a random member of the crowd — Charlie Gilbert, a math teacher played by Owen Wilson. As the two try to navigate the unusual situation, an actual romance starts to form.
In addition to the main cast, this star-studded release also features Sarah Silverman, Utkarsh Ambudkar, John Bradley, Chloe Coleman, and Jimmy Fallon. It's directed by Kat Coiro and currently holds a "60% Fresh" rating on review-aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
"Marry Me" is now available to watch at home on the Peacock Premium streaming service. The movie debuted on Peacock and in theaters on the same day
Though Peacock offers a free plan, you need at least a Peacock Premium membership ($5/month) to watch the new release. Peacock Premium is ad-supported, but if you'd rather skip the ads, you can pay $10 a month for Peacock Premium Plus instead.
