CALL the fashion police! A sushi restaurant caused outrage this week when it posted a very strict dress code on its website.
The Beluga Bar in Surrey demanded women wear “sexy black ankle-strap heels” and “form-fitting tops”, while men were to arrive in jackets.
But despite the anger, could the restaurant be on to something with its list of pushy style rules?

IT is usually where we see the stars at their most glamorous, in sweeping gowns or dapper tuxedos.
But at a 2014 movie premiere, film star Bradley went full drab Dad in a dirty grey T-shirt, combat trousers and hiking boots.
The 47-year-old looked more The Hangover than A (style) Star Is Born.

THE former Little Mix singer decided it was hot enough for a bikini top but not flip-flops on a trip to Los Angeles last month.
In heavy shin-length combat boots, the 30-year-old looked like she was ready to hit the assault course after browsing the stores.
LAW COURT
THE 29-year-old rapper found her inner Cruella De Vil when she turned up to court in an audacious hat, billowing feathered cape and spiked heels in 2019.
It probably would have helped her case if she’d tried to look like she took the court appearance as seriously as she clearly takes her fashion.
GYM
A BODYSUIT paired with tights is a fitness look last seen on Jane Fonda in the 1980s – and it should have stayed there too.
But 52-year-old singer Mariah’s decision to pair her fishnets with heels in 2017 not only risked her fashion cred but her ankles too.
KFC
KIM never chickens out of a bold fashion choice, but this skin-tight, optical-illusion gown was OTT for a quick trip to KFC in 2020.
And while the 41-year-old has bucket loads of style, we wish she knew how to take a night off.
