Gino and Jasmine's relationship drew skepticism from fans when Gino traveled to Panama to meet his online girlfriend with a big personality. Many viewers believe Jasmine was overbearing upon first meeting Gino, but new footage shows that Jasmine's biggest fears were confirmed.
Gino was seen in the February 6 episode of Before The 90 Days admitting to a major indiscretion against Jasmine. It was revealed on the show that Gino sent revealing photos of Jasmine to his ex-girlfriend after Jasmine saw the screenshots on Gino's phone. Gino admitted he sent Jasmine's photos to his ex as a way of "rubbing it in." Heartbroken, Jasmine expressed that Gino broke her trust after she sent the sexy photos to him in confidence. Fans were totally outraged by Gino's actions and are calling on TLC to hold him accountable.
Fans on the 90DayFiance subreddit agreed that Gino should be fired for sharing intimate photos of Jasmine. "Why is he allowed to be on TV when he's clearly breaking laws?" one Redditor wrote. "I personally don't want to see TLC or any show taking this lightly." Several fans took issue with Gino circulating Jasmine's nude photos, "meaning he violated her privacy to a degree that he broke the law and should be fired," another viewer wrote. One user on Reddit pointed out that sending revenge porn, or explicit images without someone's consent, is an offense punishable by law in Michigan, where Gino resides in the United States. Fans then debated about the legality of the situation in Panama, where the photos could have been sent.
Technicalities aside, several viewers agreed that Gino should no longer be a part of the show. Redditors called out TLC's inconsistencies when it comes to holding the 90 Day Fiancé cast accountable, as they announced Alina would no longer be a part of the show after her racist posts resurfaced but kept Big Ed on the series amid his abuse allegations. "TLC doesn’t care if they do illegal or creep things," one user wrote, referencing the network's failure to vet Geoffrey Paschel, a convicted abuser, before he joined the 90 Day Fiancé universe.
Unfortunately, 90 Day Fiancé is no stranger to legal drama among cast members on the series. Firing all 90 Day Fiancé stars who engage in problematic or illegal activity would take away from the real-life aspects of the show. However, the franchise could set an important precedent by having a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior, particularly among vulnerable cast members. Hopefully, TLC will give Gino an opportunity to answer for his wrongdoings on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days.
