WITH THE Super Bowl coming up, new commercials from major brands have started to see screen time.
Amazon Alexa dropped their latest ad, starring two major celebrities.
Famed married couple, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost, are the stars of Amazon’s latest Super Bowl commercial.
Throughout the 90-second advertisement, their Alexa device seemingly reads the pair’s minds, revealing some interesting thoughts.
In one scene, Scarlett rolls over in bed, looking at Jost and saying “I love that we get to sleep in.”
He then hides his nose, and Alexa orders mouthwash.
Scarlett then gets up and checks her breath.
In another scene, Jost asks Scarlett how she feels about kissing scenes with attractive co-stars.
While telling him it’s “the worst,” Alexa begins to play the song Little Lies by Fleetwood Mac.
“Celebrities work well for us when they will poke fun at themselves, and are willing to have fun with themselves rather than just show up and be themselves,” said Claudine Cheever, the VP of global brand and fixed marketing at Amazon.
“It’s something we are always thinking about when we are casting.”
Cheever added that Jost and Scarlett were “very involved in the joke writing.”
Scarlett and Jost have been dating since May of 2017.
Two years after their relationship began, the two were engaged.
