KUWTK: Kris Jenner Acts As Peacemaker Between Kim and Kanye
With all the drama and social media spat between Keeping Up With The Kardashians personalities Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner stands as the peacemaker. The TV star has stood by her daughter through all of the drama with her former husband, but Kris also sees the need to reach out to Kanye as well. For weeks, the A-list momager and her other family members have watched Kanye have a go at it over his estranged wife’s relationship with Pete Davidson and her parenting abilities.
Kanye has had a lot to say, going on a row several times on social media. His most recent is his agitation over their first daughter, North’s appearances on TikTok. The Donda crooner made it clear he did not want his daughter on the video-sharing app, and it seemed his wishes were not considered. Kanye took a screenshot of one of North’s TikTok posts and shared it on his Instagram page. In the caption, he addressed the public, requesting answers on what he should do about his “DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIKTOK AGAINST MY WILL?” Prior to this post, it appeared Kim and Kanye agreed to handle co-parenting and other issues in privacy, and through it all, Kim was keeping to her end of the bargain. However, on Friday, February 4, the cosmetic mogul decided she had enough of Kanye’s “constant attacks.” Kim took to her Instagram story, clamping down on the designer’s series of accusations and clarifying that North used TikTok with adult supervision.
However, Kris Jenner, who has been observing the back-and-forths like millions of others, has decided to intervene and resolve the former power couple’s feud. According to Us Weekly, a close source to the Kardashians revealed that Kim’s family members have rallied around her in this difficult period of her divorce. However, Kris has provided the biggest form of support. The insider added, “Kris is really the only one who still has a relationship with Kanye. She always has, and she’s the peacemaker when no one else will speak to him.”
While Kris is reportedly serving as the peacemaker, it might seem like Kanye is not ready to heed her stance. Amid his social media meltdowns, Kanye accused his estranged wife of kidnapping their daughter, Chicago, during her birthday a few weeks ago. The award-winning rapper also laid up more allegations stating that she put him on watch while he played with one of their sons.
It is clear that Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kris is making sure her family stays afloat through all the scandals threatening their peace. The TV mogul has been the backbone of her family for the longest time. The star mom has been standing by her third daughter, Khloe Kardashian, amid the cheating drama with ex Tristan Thompson. However, it remains to be seen if her efforts would quell the co-parenting issues between Kim and Kanye.
