Bachelorette: Rick Leach Shares His Ideas For Perfect Valentine’s Day
Former star of The Bachelorette, Rick Leach, shared his dream ideas for the perfect Valentine's Day at different price points. Rick is 32-years-old and recently moved back to Chicago, Illinois, after living in Los Angeles, California. Rick works as a senior sales representative at Bioventus, an orthobiologics company that creates technology to help with bone healing and joint pain. Rick appeared on Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette in 2021, and, although he did not find love with her, he stole the hearts of Bachelor Nation with his soft-spoken nature and charming personality.
Rick made a great first impression on Michelle with his limo entrance, during which he was concealed in a silver platter costume. Their connection became even stronger during their one-on-one date, when Rick opened up to Michelle about the loss of his father three years ago. Although Michelle eventually sent Rick home, their relationship ended on good terms. He is truly a fan-favorite. Rick is now set to appear on select dates of The Bachelor Live On Stage Official Tour, continuing his journey with the franchise.
In an interview with Bachelor Nation, Rick shared his ideas for a dream Valentine's Day date night at various price points. Ever the romantic, Rick had no problem thinking of the perfect ideas that cost little to no money. For a date with a budget of $0, Rick said that he would take his date on a hike with his dog. If he and his date had a budget of just $10, he said that they would go to the dollar store, pick out some candy, and then go watch the sunset.
If Rick had $100 for his date, he said that he would find a good restaurant for him and his date to go to that has some live music. If the budget was increased to $1,000, Rick would plan a romantic weekend. He shared, "We’d go on a weekend getaway to a spot that has some great scenery and maybe some history to it. It should also be a place that neither person has been to before. We would try out the local restaurants, walk around, see the town, and explore with an open mind!" Rick's fans have already seen him open up with Michelle, so they know that this kind of date is something that he really would enjoy.
Rick is a self-described hopeless romantic, and proved this to be true during his time on The Bachelorette. His ideas for the perfect Valentine's Day would make any woman swoon. However, these dates are not empty gestures because Rick is a sensitive and thoughtful man who really cares. Hopefully, this Valentine's Day will bring Rick all of the love that he deserves.
