Introduced after the pandemic hit almost two years ago, the Dundalk FC Patreon is the club’s biggest stream of non-commercial and non-matchday revenue.
Following its launch, the scheme peaked at 300 members. If we could get it back to that level, it would bring in over €50k per year, of which every cent goes directly into the running of Dundalk FC.
We want the Dundalk FC Patreon to have tangible benefits for our fans and we want you to feel that you are getting value for money from your subscription.
With that in mind, we have introduced some new initiatives and benefits for our members. Details below.
Available from patreon.com/dundalkfc
Supporters who take out an Annual Subscription in February and March will receive a FREE Dundalk FC third jersey.
Existing members can switch their subscriptions from a monthly to an annual plan. We would recommend that monthly members who want to switch to an annual membership do so towards the end of the calendar month in question as you will be charged as soon as you update your plan.
Plans are also in place to offer an ‘offline annual subscription’ to supporters who have limited access to technology but would still like to become a Dundalk FC Patreon member.
Application forms will be available from the office at Oriel Park from Monday, February 8th.
Supporters who purchase an Offline Subscription in February and March will receive a FREE Dundalk FC third jersey.
Members will receive exclusive access to digital content and planned events that will bring them closer to everything that happens at Oriel Park.
Now that the Covid restrictions have been lifted, it is our intention to hold more ‘live’ events for members and supporters. The first of these is set to take place before the Jim Malone Cup. More details will be released in the coming days.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who subscribed to the Dundalk FC Patreon over the past 18 months, a time of huge uncertainty for everyone connected to the club.
The important thing now, however, is that there is a real sense of optimism around Oriel Park and a desire from the owners and staff to improve and communicate more with our fans. The Dundalk FC Patreon is definitely an avenue that we will be using to do that.
Get Closer!
