TEL AVIV has a new enemy: London-based Amnesty International (AI). The British rights group on Tuesday joined Israeli B’Tselem and American Human Rights Watch (HRW) in labelling Israel’s institutionalised oppression of the Palestinians as apartheid under international law. Late, but better than never. Thanks to the late Nelson Mandela’s struggle to free South Africa from the oppression of White racism, apartheid is now part of international law that refers to a system of racial persecution, a crime against humanity punishable by the International Criminal Court. As expected, the Zionist regime’s leaders are threatening the rights group to withdraw the 248-page damning report as they did B’Tselem and HRW before. According to Israeli media reports, Tel Aviv tried as late as Monday to push AI to withdraw the report. Reason? Yes, you guessed it. AI and those who went before are “antisemitic”.
