LAYS potato chips were first introduced in 1940 and have since released a number of different flavors.
Each year, the company releases a commercial for the Super Bowl, and this year’s features some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.
On February 2, 2022, the first look of Lays’ Super Bowl LVI commercial was released and showed who the big stars are.
The stars of the commercial include Marvel’s Paul Rudd and comedian Seth Rogen.
“Are you nervous?” Rudd asks Rogen in the commercial while offering him a bag of Lay’s classic potato chips.
“Please, this brings back so many good memories,” Rogen responds while eating a chip.
The commercial then sees the stars recalling “memories” in which Lay’s chips were a part of before Rogen tied the knot with a zombie bride.
The upcoming Super Bowl game will feature a battle between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Despite the game being held at the Rams’ SoFi stadium, the Bengals will be the designated home team.
Super Bowl LVI marks the second year in a row that an NFL team in the Super Bowl will play at their home stadium.
The 2021 event saw a face-off between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.
Tom Brady was able to help lead the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title as well as add on to his legacy, marking his seventh Super Bowl win in 22 seasons.
Super Bowl LVI will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, starting at 6:30pm EST.
The Super Bowl is known for airing the best commercials of the year.
Fans can catch all of this year’s commercials live during the game.
The 2022 Super Bowl event can be watched live on NBC and Hulu with Live TV as well as streamed through FuboTV, Peacock, Sling TV and YouTube TV.
