RHONJ: Melissa Gorga Explains Her & Jennifer Aydin's Physical Fight
Melissa Gorga explains why she and Jennifer Aydin get into a physical fight in The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 and why she's not particularly proud of losing her temper. Melissa and Jennifer have always had a rocky relationship, with tensions really coming to a head in season 11, when Melissa called Jen out for saying that fellow castmate Jackie Goldschneider is stingy with her money. During a Hamptons group trip, the argument nearly did get physical when Jennifer tossed a plate at Melissa across a lunch table.
Now, it seems like things are going to heat up even more between the two of them. In the RHONJ season 12 trailer, the two women are yelling at each other, and Jennifer is seen grabbing Melissa's arm during their argument. Melissa and the other women of the Jersey cast are no strangers to loud, sometimes violent fights amongst themselves. From Teresa Giudice's iconic table flip to Danielle Staub pulling Margaret Joseph's hair in the middle of a boutique shopping trip, these women know how to bring the drama and call each other out. Now, it seems like Melissa and Jen are joining the pantheon of RHONJ women who aren't afraid to stand their ground, even physically, when they feel disrespected.
In an interview with E! News, Melissa opened up about how things started. She said that when she gets angry, she stands up to yell, and this time, Jennifer responded by grabbing her arm. That didn't sit well Melissa, though she did add that she regretted not being able to just use her words, something she also wishes Jennifer had done. Melissa thinks that Jennifer is going through a lot of things this season that might have caused her to act out of turn, which she relates to.
RHONJ season 12 is definitely going to be a doozy. While it seems like Teresa's relationship with Luis Ruelas will take center stage for most of the season, Jennifer's marriage is also under fire. She previously stated that a big family secret is exposed during the season, something she's not looking forward to. This, Melissa thinks, is part of the reason that Jennifer is so quick to fight this season. She told E! News that after years of presenting the perfect family life, Jennifer and Bill's past might be coming back to haunt them, and so she's extra panicked and stressed out.
Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out what's really happening with Jen's marriage and Teresa's fiancé Luis in season 12. While no one wants to see these women physically fight, it will certainly make for a good season and likely go down in Housewife history. These Jersey girls really know how to bring the drama.
