THE Teacher star David Fleeshman has a very famous family who have appeared in a string of soaps and dramas.
David plays the dad of teacher Jenna (Sheridan Smith) who is accused of sleeping with a minor in the Channel 5 series.
Fans will recognise David, 69, from numerous dramas including It’s A Sin and his many different roles in ITV’s Emmerdale over the years.
The TV star has also appeared in Boys from the Blackstuff, Edge of Darkness, Silent Witness, and Trial and Retribution.
The actor has even landed stints on Coronation Street, EastEnders and Brookside.
Meanwhile, David’s wife Sue Jenkins has also enjoyed a successful acting career, appearing as barmaid Gloria Todd in Coronation Street from 1985 to 1988.
Her character was caught up in her fair share of dramas on the cobbles and exited the soap after stealing the boyfriend of The Rovers cleaner Sandra Stubbs.
She also started in Brookside portraying the role of Jackie Corkhill from 1991 to 2001. The actress went into appear in BBC’s Casualty and Doctors.
When she’s not on our screens then she’s behind the camera producing theatre shows, mainly at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.
It looks like the whole family have been bitten by the acting bug.
The couple share three children – Emily, Richard and Rosie, who are also talented actors in the industry.
Emily is arguably best know for her role as Tania Thomas in children’s hit show My Parents Are Alien from 1999 to 2001.
She also starred in Shameless, Moving On and Still Open All Hours.
Meanwhile, Richard followed in his mum’s footsteps by landing the role of Craig Harris in Coronation Street when he was just 12 years old.
He started in 2002 and stayed for four years – during his time on the soap he embarked on a relationship with mischievous Rosie Webster and discovered that his sister Katy had killed their dad.
The 32-year-old has continued to act and has enjoyed success on theatre shows like Legally Blonde and Ghost: The Musical.
Rosie, 29, has also been an actress since the age of 10, mainly starring in stage shows like The Pleasance and also regularly record radio plays for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 7.
On the new four-part drama, Sheridan plays Jenna Garvey, a popular high-school teacher with a chaotic private life.
The Teacher sees Jenna accused of bedding one of her pupils, a young lad called Kyle, after a boozy night out at a local nightclub.
But with no recollection of the evening in question thanks to a drunken blackout, Jenna has only one hope to restore her good reputation: unearthing the truth about a traumatic event in her past.
The first episode opened with Jenna turning up to teach a class after a night of boozing.

Sheridan is now one of the UK’s most in-demand actresses after rising to fame in hit British sitcoms like Gavin & Stacey, The Royle Family, and Benidorm.
Sheridan stars alongside Samuel Bottomley (Ackley Bridge) as the student at the centre of the scandal that threatens to ruin Jenna’s life.
The stellar cast also features Sharon Rooney of My Mad Fat Diary fame, former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, and Black Mirror’s Cecelia Noble as staff at Jenna’s school.
The Teacher continues tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm and concludes on Thursday.
