Report: Tottenham transfer given ‘green light’ – Levy still searching for permanent option
Tanguy Ndombele has been given the green light to secure a move from Tottenham to Paris Saint-Germain, according to Get French Football News.
Tottenham are said to be in talks with PSG to send Ndombele to the French capital on an initial loan with an option to buy at the end of the season (The Guardian).
Get French Football News claims a loan move between both clubs has now been agreed ‘in principle’ with PSG set to cover the Frenchman’s £200,000-a-week wages for a part of the deal.
Such a move would see the 25-year-old reunited with Mauricio Pochettino, who initially signed him for Spurs in the summer of 2019.
However, while Ndombele has been okayed to move back to Ligue 1, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is still searching for a potential permanent sale of the midfielder.
The Times reports Spurs are keen to recoup as much of the £54 million fee paid to Lyon over two years ago, but also recognise that such an expectation will be challenging to achieve this month. (Evening Standard).

Ndombele is moving closer to a Spurs exit, which he has been seeking for quite a while now. At this point, it is better for both player and club to part ways, but Spurs are obviously wanting to try and claw back that massive transfer fee paid out in 2019.
