The Tourist viewers rip into ‘unsatisfying, letdown ending’ – and all make the same demand to BBC
BBC One’s The Tourist has ended on a dramatic yet confusing note for viewers.
And fans of the show starring Jamie Dornan have already taken to social media demanding a follow-up season.
While some viewers caught up with the fifth episode of The Tourist on TV last night, others have decided to binge the programme on BBC iPlayer, where all six episodes are available.
This led to individuals discovering the show’s ending and fans were conflicted.
Although partially praised, The Tourist let down some viewers who turned to Twitter to express their frustration.
“Just finished watching The Tourist”, wrote one social media user, “how can that be an ending?”
“What on earth was that about? Soooooo disappointed after 6 episodes with the ending”, added another.
A third chimed in: “I liked watching The Tourist at first, it was really good but now it’s just getting silly and loosing interest.”
“Just watched the end of The Tourist, pointlessly depressing, wouldn’t recommend”, penned a fourth viewer.
Another commented: “Dissatisfying ending, he’s going to die, she’ll feel terrible for the rest of her life and I still don’t understand what the fuck was going on in the middle bit.”
