While not much information is publicly known about Robert Bruce aside from his appearances on television, he was a fan-favorite on the reality show Comic Book Men.

In addition to Comic Book Men, Bruce has also worked on Burn in Hell and Shooting Clerks, according to his IMDB page.
The store featured on the show also shared a tribute via Twitter for Bruce, sending condolences to his family.
“We were stunned to learn of the passing of Rob Bruce,” they wrote.
“As a member of Comic Book Men, he shared a lifetime of pop culture knowledge with millions of CBM fans. His passion & expertise will be missed.”
According to Secret Stash, Bruce left behind his wife and two sons.

An exact cause of death is not yet known.
According to New Jersey police, Robert Bruce was found dead in a storage facility in Red Bank on Friday, December 31.
The death is being investigated by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office, according to NJ.com.
Bruce’s family reportedly grew concerned after not hearing from him for a few days, the outlet said.
It’s also reported that Bruce may have been living in the storage facility at the time of his death.
At the moment, his death is not deemed suspicious. Red Bank Police Detective Sean Hauschildt has asked anyone with potential information to contact him.
What is Comic Book Men?
Comic Book Men was a reality TV show that took place in the 2010s.
The unscripted series was shot at Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash in Red Bank, New Jersey, and featured both workers and customers interested in the comic book world.
Kevin Smith, the owner of the shop, had an interest in filmmaking, podcasting, and television – from there, the show was born.
Season one featured six one-hour long episodes, and came out following the premiere of The Walking Dead season two.
Every season after the first featured half-hour episodes, with Comic Book Men running for seven seasons.
