The Russian side will not ignore the fact that the German regulator has achieved the termination of the broadcasting of the RT DE TV channel in their country.
Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev said that the consequences of such a decision by the FRG authorities could offend their journalists who work in Russia. His words are reported by the RIA Novosti edition.
In an interview with the agency dpa, Nechaev, when asked what will follow the suspension of the broadcast of RT DE, replied that Russia will definitely react to the violation of the rights of media workers. However, he has not yet said what exactly awaits foreign journalists.
In addition, the diplomat stressed that Russia is against the conflict and does not want it. She will only strive to ensure that her journalists receive the same rights as foreign colleagues and can safely carry out their work. Nechaev also expressed the hope that Berlin will come to their senses and stop putting pressure on RT.
