The Battle Park in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl allows players to purchase incredibly valuable items. As players progress through the game, defeat the Elite Four, and become the Sinnoh Champion, new areas begin to open up around the region. One of these locations is the Fight Area. In order to access it, players will need to speak with the sailor in Snowpoint City. This is the location where players faced off against Snowpoint Gym Leader Candice. The sailor will send the trainer over to the Fight Area where they can enter the Battle Park. The 'Battle' locations have been a staple in the Pokémon series for almost every entry. In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Battle Park is where players can take on challenging NPCs with competitive Pokémon and movesets.
The reason the Battle Park is towards the end of the game is that it acts as the final challenge for the Champion. Players can enter the Battle Park and participate in either Singles or Double Battles. In Single Battles, players will face off against another player in a 3-v-3 Pokémon battle. When players choose Doubles, this is raised to a 4-v-4 battle. Upon defeating the trainer, the player will be rewarded with BP. These are Battle Points and can be redeemed at the Battle Park for items.
The Battle Park in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl is broken up into two different areas. The first is the Main Area. In this location, players can receive the Point Card from the attendant when the player first enters the park. Players can also find the Razor Fang item in this location in the southwest. The second location is the Pokémon Battle Tower where there will be two attendants at separate counters and each of them will offer the player different items.
