Some Spurs fans on social media are divided over whether the club should hold on to Harry Kane or cash in on the striker in January after reports emerged that Manchester City could rekindle their interest in the striker.
According to ESPN, City are still on the lookout for a striker after having missed out on Kane in the summer and could be set to try again for the England captain in January.
The report claimed that Pep Guardiola’s men would be willing to test Tottenham’s resolve to hang on to the 28-year-old if they are given any encouragement by the North London club.
It was alleged that Daniel Levy had given assurances to Antonio Conte that he could expect to include Kane in his plans moving forward but the report suggested that Spurs could change their stance if they received a substantial offer.
Some Spurs fans laughed off the report, suggesting that there was no chance that the club would consider selling the striker after Conte’s appointment.
However, others insisted that cashing in on Kane and reinvesting the money into the squad would be the best way to go.
Always cost more in January, they refused 150 they not going to pay 200 now

Would be dumb – Lose our source of goals halfway through the season and fail to replace him because it's January. https://t.co/JsLmLCwxkG

Spurs Web Opinion
Irrespective of what fans think would be best for Tottenham over the long term, there is simply no chance of Spurs selling Kane in January following Conte’s appointment.
The Italian would have certainly sought assurances over the striker’s future before signing the contract.
