A beloved head custodian at Unity Grove Elementary School in Locust Grove, Georgia, was elated after being gifted a car by fellow staff members who raised money to buy the vehicle. Video posted by the school to Facebook on August 16 shows two teachers in a parking lot surprising Chris Jackson – also known as “Mr Chris” – the school’s head custodian, who walked to work every day and was facing a time “of need,” according to the school’s post. After standing stunned for several seconds, Jackson raises his arms to the sky and pumps his fist in celebration. “We love you,” the two teachers say. “We love you, Mr Chris.” Walking around the parking lot in state of surprise, Jackson says, “There is a God! … Thank you. Thank you.” “Today was one of those days that makes you smile for hours,” the school wrote on Facebook. “Unity Grove is a special place, and we are so grateful for the people who are in our lives.” Credit: Unity Grove Elementary via Storyful
